~Rawr~

So this weekend I went on a trip to The Mojave Desert for our boyscout rifle/shotgun trip we take every two years. We left the church at 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning and drove for about 2 hours. El-ray (Our gun expert, hes amazing. I want to say he is 70 something. But he is the most learned person in guns you can find and owns more guns than you can count. He is a member of the NRA and works with guns.) soo El-ray had head up Tuesday with John, his good friend who was director at the skunk works and worked on a great number of secret military aircraft, and they set up the shooting range. When me and the boys got there we hoped out got our tents set up then got down to business shooting. Later in the day John went over to the other side of the site to open up the shotgun range. It was a ton of fun, I hit 24 out of 35 clay pigeons. And over on the rifle range (we were shooting .44) We set some shotgun shells on a post at the top of the valley and me and a few friends took shots. there were 7 I took out 4 before any one could get even one off . Later for dinner we all cooked up some beef tacos and then had a campfire. after the camp fire we played German spot lite and then me and the older boys sent the young scouts to bed. Me and Holden (sophomore) and Coren (Collage) stayed out and talked for a few hours at the fire. After they went to bed I fell asleep in the chair next to what was left of the fire. I woke up around 3 a.m. and decided to go to my tent because it was really windy. In the morning we had bacon and cereal with some ham and then went back to shooting. We cleaned up and broke down camp around 1:00 p.m. and left around 1:30. We stopped by in-n-out on the way home for burgers and ended up getting home around 4:30 after getting everything squared away at the church (I my shower). So yeah, EXTREMELY fun weekend. And I don't have to go to school till 9:30a.m. tomorrow so YIPPY!!!
